Polish satirist, poet, aphorist. He belonged to poetry of the "second" postwar period which was noted for the expression of philosophical thought. Stanislaw Jerzy Lec was a satirical poet noted for skeptical philosophical aphorisms in Mysli nieuczesane (published in series from 1957 with the title of "Unkempt Thoughts"). |
